Clay, dancing and a new room.

We busted out the clay on Tuesday. Such a peaceful hour! The children really enjoyed playing and talking to each other about their ideas.The process of working with this natural material supports fine motor skills, self esteem, self expression and problem solving skills. In addition, clay has a well documented therapeutic quality that settles and calms children.

Folk Dancing

The children enjoyed showing their parents the dances they have been learning.

 Our new room

The children got their first look at our new room today. It is cleaner and tidier today than it will ever be again :) We will remain as Room One. The fencing will be removed tomorrow! Make sure you take the opportunity for a sneak peak tomorrow morning from 9-10am or 2-3pm.
